I have this very kind cousin. His name is Neil. And I have this fear–that he would die soon. ‘Coz God has this habit of taking away kind people while they’re still very young.
Just like Rico Yan.

Exactly one year ago, I was sitting on my bed, facing my laptop, and spazzing about Cho Kyuhyun. Tonight, I’m still sitting on my bed, facing my laptop, and thanking everyone who greeted me on Facebook because I’ve passed the FPGEE!!!
Today must be a lucky day.

Be careful what you wish for ‘coz you just might get it all. I’m so filled with overwhelming OMG-ness right now that I don’t exactly know what to type in here. I want to call my mom but I know that she’s still sleeping right now. I’ve been wishing for so many things and now that I’m getting everything, I don’t anymore know how I should feel.
I prayed a novena last week to St. Cajetan and got employed. Gwen (the manager) told me to report on Monday, which is tomorrow, so I called her this morning just to confirm what time I should come in. Then she told me that she talked with the pharmacy manager at CVS Marina last Friday and learned that he was also planning to hire me, and since I applied there first, she thought it would just be fair if she let him hire me. So instead of going to Gwen’s CVS tomorrow, I shall go to CVS Marina. Gwen told me not to worry ‘coz even though CVS Marina was going to be my primary boss, I could also work for her branch and other branches in the area as a floater.
It’s just funny how once upon a time, I wished to have both jobs in both locations, then after a simple phone call, that wish suddenly wasn’t a wish anymore but a reality that I must face starting tomorrow. God really works in mysterious ways sometimes. I’m just overwhelmed that my wishes have also been His wishes all along.
PS: I just realized today is the 17th, the last day of my monthly novena to St. Therese.

First thing in the morning, I saw Kimmy‘s tweets greeting Donghae for his birthday. “Hmmm… so it’s Donghae’s birthday today,” I thought to myself. And then… “it” occurred to me.

…that I still want to become a doctor!!!
I watched Kyuhyun’s segment in “Strong Heart” about “second life” this morning and listened to him talk about the famous car accident they had 3 years ago. Among the 6 people who got hurt, Kyuhyun’s injury was the worst. He had 6 broken ribs which pierced through his lungs, every breath making him one step closer to death. When the doctors saw him, all of them said one thing: “This kid is going to die.”
“If we are going to operate, we have to start from the throat,” the doctors continued. However, Kyuhyun’s father opposed the doctors’ decision, saying, “My son is a singer. If you cut him from the throat, doesn’t it equate to robbing him of his dreams? Even if he survives, how can he continue to live?” The doctors and the father then ended up in a heated argument.
At that moment, a Chinese doctor, who was advanced in age, stepped into the scene. “I can still remember his name,” Kyuhyun said. The name was Wang Yang Pil. The doctor said he knew of another method to operate, and he would use it on Kyuhyun, so the latter would still be able to sing.
Five months later, Kyuhyun was singing again on stage with the other members, just like nothing happened.
That doctor was definitely a lifesaver, and should I say, a “dream-saver!” Plus, he reminds me of Dr. House!
Like them, I want to be a doctor. I want to save lives. And I want to protect others’ dreams.

Oh yes! T.S.S. is in the US!
I arrived in SFO international airport at 7:25 PM; that is, thirty five minutes earlier than promised. Wow, great job PAL! And an even greater job for providing us with individual touchscreen TV’s with a full library of movies, music, and even games! Gosh, the newly refurbished Boeing 747 was amazing! (Please pardon my excitement, but the last time I rode an international plane was in 2008, and this is the first time I traveled by myself).
I also took pictures of the meals! Nothing new, but still great anyway. I know that a lot of people don’t, but I love airplane food!
This one was yummy.
There were 18 movies all in all (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Alice in Wonderland, etc.)! In addition to that, you can choose your own movie and pause it anytime you want. You can even rewind or fast forward! There were also subtitles in English and Chinese! Too bad, I didn’t finish a single movie! ‘Twas because I gave all of them a start.
It was fun playing games too!
Overall, it’s been a great first “solo flight” for me! Thanks to Mommy for allowing me to travel on my own despite her fears and worries.
Until next time, Turrah! <— reminds me of Art Attack
PS: I heard Super Junior’s “갈증 (A Man In Love)” on the in-flight radio.

So here’s the tracklist of Super Junior’s much anticipated 4th album, “미 인 아 (BONAMANA).”
01. 미 인 아 (BONAMANA)
02. 나쁜 여자 (Boom Boom)
03. 응결 (Coagulation)
04. 나란 사람 (Your Eyes)
05. My Only Girl
06. 사랑이 이렇게 (My All Is In You)
07. Shake It Up!
08. 잠들고 싶어 (In My Dream)
09. 봄날 (One Fine Spring Day)
10. 좋은 사람 (Good Person)
11. Here We Go
As any other SuJu fan, I was as eager to listen to their 4th album tracks, so last night, after watching my daily dose of “House MD,” I switched back to my fangirl self again and downloaded the entire album to my iPod. “What a wonderful way to end the day!” The Silent Spectator thought.
However… (NOTE: DON’T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN’T LISTENED YET TO THE WHOLE ALBUM YOURSELF. YOU MIGHT HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION ABOUT THIS MATTER)
…out of the 11 tracks, I only liked 4:
01. 미 인 아 (BONAMANA)
03. 응결 (Coagulation)
06. 사랑이 이렇게 (My All Is In You) <—– my most favorite
08. 잠들고 싶어 (In My Dream)
Sorry to say, but the 3rd album is still the best for me.
By the way, I just got a phone call from Kpop Lover and learned that we’ve got the same opinion about the “Bonamana” MV, that it’s just like the same old “Sorry, Sorry” black and white/grayscale video. Unfortunately, we were expecting more. The dance moves were awesome, anyway (but not in the chorus part <—- t’was a bit weird). All the same, Kyuhyun’s moves were epic!
